Design principles

The Allium design principles reflect our TELUS brand vision and help guide our teams to create great digital experiences for our customers and partners. They're the benchmark against which an experience is measured, and ultimately, they help us answer the question: is it good enough for our customers? All TELUS-branded experiences must meet these principles.

  1. Design for simplicity
The TELUS brand is associated with simplicity, clean and contemporary. With the re-design, we are going back to basics and simplifying our designs by removing any visual clutter that is not necessary.

  2. Design for customer's needs
Make it easy for our customers to do what they're on TELUS.com to do.

  3. Design for accessibility
All digital experiences must meet all the accessibility requirements and are encouraged to exceed them.

  4. Design for consistency and efficiency
TELUS.com should feel like a consistent experience no matter what section you are on to build familiarity for our customers when browsing our site.

  5. Design for all screen sizes
When designing for digital, we should be looking at all screen breakpoints to ensure we have a good experience on as many screen sizes as possible.

  6. Design for beauty and delight
Every page on TELUS.com should feel like it has been crafted with care and match our brand look and feel.
